1st line Service Desk Analyst

If you are a 1st line Service Desk Analyst with 6-12 months experience, we have a new role we would like to discuss with you.

This is a great entry point into IT with real progression, working within an enterprise scale business with broad tech exposure.

Please note this role requires 5 days per week onsite in Solihull, West Midlands.

What You'll Do

  • Provide 1st line support via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Log, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests
  • Escalate complex issues where required
  • Support hardware, software, and user issues
  • Assist with device setup, builds, and deployments
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Tech Skills

Basic knowledge of:

  • Windows 10 & 11
  • Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365
  • PC/laptop hardware & peripherals (printers, etc.)
  • Mobile devices
  • AV/meeting room tech

What We're Looking For

  • 6-12 months' IT support experience (service desk or onsite/field)
  • Good communication skills (spoken & written)
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Able to work with urgency and manage workload

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to ticketing tools (eg, ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Working towards IT certifications (eg, OEM/hardware)
