GenAI/AI Solution Architect
Devonshire Hayes are supporting a leading insurance organisation in London as they continue to expand their Data & AI capability with the appointment of a GenAI/AI Solution Architect.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business investing heavily in AI, data transformation and emerging technologies, where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions across the organisation.
Working closely with Data, Architecture, Engineering and Business stakeholders, you will be responsible for designing scalable AI and GenAI solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks and strategic business objectives.
You'll help drive the adoption of AI technologies across the organisation, supporting both innovation initiatives and production-scale deployment of AI-powered solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing end-to-end AI and GenAI solution architectures
- Working across enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies and AI services
- Supporting the development of AI use cases including LLMs, copilots, intelligent automation and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Collaborating with engineering, product and business teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
- Ensuring solutions align with security, governance and regulatory requirements within a highly regulated environment
- Helping define AI architecture standards, frameworks and best practices
- Evaluating emerging AI technologies and advising on strategic adoption
Skills & Experience Required
Our customer is looking for someone who can combine strong technical architecture capability with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience required:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, AI Architect or Enterprise Architect within complex enterprise environments (preferably within the Insurance industry)
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and AI technologies
- Experience designing AI/ML solutions within cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures, AI orchestration frameworks and modern AI tooling
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms and integration architectures
- Understanding of AI governance, security and responsible AI principles
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience within Financial Services or Insurance environments would be highly advantageous
