The Opportunity

This is a key and high impact role ; Regional Sales Manager — a true sales hunter who loves opening doors, building pipeline, and converting complex opportunities into long-term customer value.

About You

This role suits a high-energy, commercially sharp hunter who can sell solution based bespoke, high-value services in the Oil & Gas / fuel distrubution market.

Must-haves

· Proven track record in new business development (services and/or technology solutions).

· Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

· Confident negotiator who can land win–win deals without giving away margin.

· Strong planning, prioritisation, and follow-through — you own the outcome.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Well regarded

· Experience in industrial/asset-intensive environments (e.g., terminals, energy, resources, and utilities).

· A Maintenance background in an oil or gas Terminal environment will be highly regarded.

· Engineering background or strong technical aptitude.

· Experience selling service agreements, maintenance programs, lifecycle services, or digital solutions.

What you’ll be selling (Solutions)

Solutions include (but aren’t limited to): - Digital services and products (Digital Twins, TIDE, Terminal Automation Systems, Digitz and other digital offerings) And Oil Terminal Engineering field services – Mechanical, Electrical and controls including Full Maintenance packages.

What you’ll do (day-to-day)

· Hunt and win new business: build pipeline, prospect, qualify, and close service opportunities.

· Develop and execute a regional services growth plan aligned to annual targets.

· Identify and convert opportunities within major accounts (account development + expansion).

· Work with Product Owners and internal stakeholders to ensure the customer value proposition is clear and compelling.

· Articulate proposals/quotations scope, manage tender responses, and drive commercial outcomes.

· Negotiate and execute commercial contracts while protecting margin.

· Stay close to market movements, competitor activity, and customer organisational changes.

· Maintain disciplined CRM/pipeline management and provide regular reporting on funnel health, forecast accuracy, and win/loss insights.

· Represent DKI professionally in customer meetings, presentations, and industry engagements.

· Consistent service revenue growth above current levels.

· Strong conversion rates from qualified pipeline to closed-won outcomes.

· Commercial discipline: strong margin outcomes and well-managed contract risk.
