The Opportunity
Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a growing and well-established eCommerce and distribution business, in the recruitment of an IT Administrator (ERP & Product Data).
This is a key role supporting business operations by ensuring product data accuracy and consistency across both ERP systems and eCommerce platforms. You will play a vital part in maintaining product availability, pricing accuracy, and seamless customer experience across digital and internal systems.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in ERP administration, product data management, eCommerce systems, or IT administration who enjoys working with structured data and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product data across ERP and website platforms
- Ensure product pricing and specifications remain accurate and up to date
- Upload and manage product images, descriptions, and technical information
- Add new products efficiently across multiple systems
- Archive or remove discontinued product lines
- Ensure consistency between ERP and eCommerce platforms
- Manage bulk product uploads using Excel, imports, and system tools
- Maintain and improve data import templates and workflows
- Monitor data quality and resolve discrepancies or errors
- Act as a key contact for product data queries across purchasing, sales, and marketing teams
- Identify opportunities to streamline product data processes
- Provide general IT administration support including workstation and printer troubleshooting
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working with ERP systems, product databases, or eCommerce platforms
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
- Comfortable managing large volumes of product or master data
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, imports, spreadsheets)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Desirable Experience
- Magento experience (highly desirable)
- Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
- Product Information Management (PIM) systems
- SQL Server knowledge (setup or maintenance)
- Basic IT support or networking knowledge
- Understanding of SEO-friendly product content
