Python Engineer – ConTech Startup (London, Hybrid)

The Business

We’re partnered with a high-growth Construction Technology (ConTech) startup transforming how major construction and real estate projects are delivered. Backed by strong early traction and working with tier-one contractors, they’re building AI-driven tools to bring automation, insight, and efficiency to a traditionally slow-moving industry.

The Role

As an AI Engineer, you’ll take ownership of building and scaling AI-driven features across the platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the CTO and product team to develop intelligent systems used in real-world construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI/ML models (LLMs, computer vision, or predictive models)
• Build and optimise data pipelines and AI-driven workflows
• Develop production-ready AI features (RAG pipelines, agents, automation tools)
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape the AI roadmap

Requirements

• Strong experience in Python and AI/ML frameworks
• Experience building and deploying AI models in production
• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent-based systems
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Interest in startups and building in a fast-paced environment

On Offer

• £70k–£110k base salary (DOE)
• Equity + performance bonus
• Hybrid working (3 days per week in Central London)
