Senior Product Manager
We are working on behalf of a fast-growing, well-established organisation within the Energy sector that supports businesses across the UK. Salary: Around £80-85K Depending on experienceRelocation package available Due to continued investment in their internal and customer-facing platforms, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Product Manager with a strong energy industry background. This is a senior, business-critical role, sitting between commercial stakeholders and an in-house development team, with responsibility for ensuring product delivery aligns with both business objectives and technical capability. The RoleReporting into senior leadership, the Senior Product Manager will take ownership of product delivery across a suite of platforms and systems, acting as the key interface between business users and developers. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary liaison between the business and in-house development team
- Owning and managing the product roadmap, backlog, and priorities
- Translating business requirements into clear user stories and Jira cards
- Coordinating sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery
- Overseeing QA processes, UAT, and release readiness
- Ensuring products align with commercial goals and energy sector requirements
- Driving continuous improvement across systems and processes
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager
- Previous experience within the energy sector (energy retail, supply, billing, metering, data, procurement, or wider supply chain)
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience using Jira, including card creation, backlog management, and QA workflows
- Experience working closely with in-house development teams
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with excellent communication skills
