Digital Skills are partnering with a Global software and travel brand to recruit a Data Management professional to support the design, implementation and optimisation of critical data solutions across a large-scale technology environment.

This position sits within a highly collaborative data organisation where you'll work closely with engineering, product and analytics teams to ensure data can be reliably consumed across the business.

The role combines Data Engineering, Data Management and Data Quality responsibilities and is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of data models
• Map and optimise data flows across systems and platforms
• Build and support data ingestion solutions, pipelines and workflows
• Develop monitoring and validation processes to ensure data quality
• Implement failure detection and data availability monitoring
• Support batch and event-driven data processing solutions
• Connect and integrate datasets across multiple systems
• Support Data Governance processes, data lineage and logical data models
• Deliver reliable, scalable and high-quality data solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL skills
• Data modelling experience (Relational and Dimensional)
• Experience with ETL pipelines and data workflows
• Understanding of Data Quality frameworks and methodologies
• Experience using Python, Pandas, R or similar tools
• Knowledge of Data Governance best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience

• Data Engineering experience
• Cloud data platforms
• Real Time data processing
• Data monitoring and observability tooling
• DAMA-DMBOK knowledge
• Data lineage and metadata management experience

Ideal Backgrounds

The Ideal candidate will be an experienced Data Engineer with the ability to Design and Build data tools and models. You will have experience in Analytics Engineering and Data Quality Engineering, in order to support Products and Business teams in understanding data better and making commercial decisions.
