Digital Skills are supporting a leading Global SaaS Provider as they seek an experienced Marketing Manager to join their regional marketing function on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a high impact leadership role supporting commercial growth across the UK, Europe and LATAM, with responsibility for marketing strategy, campaign execution, major events, team leadership and product go-to-market initiatives.
About the Role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Field Marketing leader to take ownership of a regional marketing function with significant revenue responsibility. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing marketing strategy, driving SaaS product launches, managing a flagship customer conference and partnering closely with Sales leadership to deliver measurable pipeline growth across multiple international markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the filed marketing function, ensuring successful delivery of current campaign activity before driving FY27 strategic planning.
- Partner with regional Sales Directors to define and execute revenue-focused marketing strategies across the UK, Europe and LATAM.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new SaaS and software product launches, including pilot programmes and market introductions.
- Drive multi-channel demand generation campaigns across ABM, email, partnerships, social media and events.
- Take full ownership of regional marketing budgets, ensuring effective spend management and return on investment.
- Lead and deliver a flagship user conference, managing content creation, speaker acquisition, vendor management, delegate recruitment and onsite execution.
- Collaborate with product, product marketing and sales teams to align messaging and launch activities.
- Manage and develop a team consisting of two permanent employees and freelance marketing resources.
- Drive funnel optimisation and improve conversion rates through effective lead management and campaign performance analysis.
- Maintain high standards of CRM and marketing data quality across Salesforce and associated marketing platforms.
- Act as a key stakeholder between regional teams and global marketing leadership, ensuring local market requirements are represented.
- Champion the adoption of AI-powered marketing tools to increase team productivity and campaign effectiveness.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable Field Marketing leadership experience within a B2B SaaS or software organisation.
- Proven success delivering go-to-market strategies and launching new software products into market.
- Minimum eight years of senior B2B marketing experience.
- Experience managing marketing programmes across multiple international regions, ideally including the UK and Europe.
- Strong commercial understanding of pipeline generation, lead management, funnel performance and revenue contribution.
- Hands-on experience owning and delivering customer conferences, industry events or large-scale user events.
- Experience partnering directly with Sales leadership to align marketing activity with commercial objectives.
- Previous line management experience with responsibility for coaching and developing marketing teams.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and demonstrating marketing ROI.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation platforms.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve marketing operations and productivity.
