Finance Analyst
Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract
Rate: Up to £45 per hour - Inside IR35 (based on a 37.5-hour week)
Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite in Manchester

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join a global travel company on an initial 3-month contract. This role will support commercial decision-making through high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and insight, working closely with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce meaningful and actionable variance analysis, comparing KPI performance against agreed targets and budgets
• Support business decision-making by exploring business questions through data analysis and visualisation, delivering clear conclusions and recommendations
• Support rebates analysis, including performance tracking, reconciliations, reporting to finance, and scenario analysis to inform profitability decisions
• Build and maintain regular reporting that is insightful, easy to use, and actionable for departmental stakeholders
• Develop efficient and automated reporting on an ad-hoc basis to support decision-making at all levels of seniority
• Maintain key reports, metrics, and workflows, highlighting data integrity issues and escalating where appropriate

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years' experience in data processing and analysis (eg SQL, Hadoop, Excel)
• Commercial experience using data visualisation tools (eg Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
• Confident presenting findings in a structured, clear, and actionable way to varied audiences
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analysis in a concise and meaningful manner
