Role Overview:

Digital Skills is on the hunt for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer who can make and lead decisions in delivering secure, scalable, and dynamic cloud platforms from scratch. You will work with skilled engineers and have opportunities to collaborate with AWS, delivering cutting-edge technology to the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the architecture and evolution of AWS platforms at scale, leveraging AWS Organisations, AWS Landing Zones, and multi-account best practices.
• Innovate with AWS Networking, KMS, IAM, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
• Champion security, compliance, and observability by integrating services like AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Inspector.
• Design CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless deployments and self-service models for customers.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in multi-tenanted platform architectures and multi-account AWS setups.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for automation and Scripting.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS Networking, TLS, and security best practices.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS) and observability tools (Grafana, ELK).
• A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and delivering high-impact solutions.
