Product Manager | Product Craft, Agile Delivery, Data Quality & Engineering Collaboration

Initial 6 Month contract

Up to £75 per hour - Inside IR35 (37.5 hrs/week)

Hybrid working- 2 days per week onsite in Manchester

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Manager to take ownership of a key product area, driving strategy and execution within a cross-functional team. You will work closely with engineering to prioritise delivery, improve data flows, and ensure high-quality outputs that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap aligned with wider business strategy
  • Prioritise the backlog and manage sprint planning in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers to deliver high-quality product features
  • Identify risks and dependencies early and implement mitigation plans
  • Ensure strong data flows and maintain high standards of data quality across the product
  • Use data, experimentation, and user insights to inform product decisions
  • Manage and communicate with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Represent the product team in a clear and engaging manner to senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in product processes and delivery practices

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong product management experience within a technology-driven environment
  • Proven expertise in product craft, prioritisation, and backlog management
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions
  • Solid understanding of data flows, data quality, and data-driven decision making
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and delivery
  • Ability to define metrics, analyse performance, and drive experimentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience translating user needs into actionable product requirements

Summary of the Best Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant product management experience, with a strong focus on product craft and delivery. You will be highly organised, comfortable working with engineering teams, and confident managing priorities across a defined product scope. A background in data-driven environments, with a clear understanding of data quality and product performance, will be key to success in this role.
