Senior Marketing Technology Manager

We’re working with a fast-scaling digital business looking for a Senior Marketing Technology Manager to lead the strategy and implementation of its MarTech and AdTech stack. This is a role with serious impact. It's ideal for someone who enjoys being close to stakeholders and influencing best practice from within.
This hybrid role would suit someone based in or near Bristol who values face-to-face collaboration while maintaining flexibility.
The RoleYou’ll own the Martech and AdTech roadmap, supporting performance marketing across Meta, Google, programmatic and CRM.
Your key focus areas in the first 6 months will be:
- Improving conversion tracking accuracy and Meta Event Match Quality
- Strengthening GTM (web + server-side) and CAPI implementation
- Fully activating Adjust (MMP), ensuring it integrates correctly with Meta and other paid channels
- Leveraging first-party data via CDP integrations to improve targeting and optimisation
The stack includes GA4, Snowplow, GTM (web & server-side), Meta CAPI, Adjust, Hightouch & internal CDP, Superset for BI and OneTrust for consent.
There’s no external agency but you’ll work closely with internal Tech/Product teams to implement improvements. You’ll be expected to bring strong hands-on expertise, while also guiding teams on best practice and commercial impact.
You’ll support paid media teams with tagging, audience activation and attribution logic, improving the connection between digital leads, app journeys and offline conversion outcomes.
Skills & Experience- Has 4+ years’ experience in Martech, AdTech or Marketing Technology
- Is strong with GTM (including server-side), Meta CAPI and Adjust
- Understands attribution models and consent frameworks
- Has supported paid media teams with tagging and optimisation
- Has a solid understanding of CDPs and first-party data strategy
- Can translate technical detail into commercial value
- Enjoys collaborating cross-functionally
