Senior Marketing Technology Manager

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, high-performance digital business looking for a Senior Marketing Technology Manager to take control of their MarTech and AdTech ecosystem. This is a role with genuine ownership, ideal for someone who is both technically strong and strategically sharp.

This is a remote-first opportunity for someone confident working independently, partnering cross-functionally, and driving best practice across acquisition, app, web and offline journeys.

The Role

You’ll own the strategy, implementation and optimisation of the marketing and advertising technology stack, supporting performance marketing across Meta, Google, programmatic and CRM.

Your immediate priorities in the first 6 months will be:

  • Improving conversion tracking foundations — including Meta Event Match Quality, GTM (web + server-side), and strengthening CAPI implementation
  • Fully configuring and activating Adjust (currently under-utilised), including proper integration with Meta and paid channels
  • Improving first-party data integration and audience activation through CDP workflows to enhance targeting and optimisation

The stack includes GA4, Snowplow, GTM (web & server-side), Meta CAPI, Adjust (MMP), Hightouch & internal CDP platform, Superset (BI), and OneTrust for consent management.

You won’t be supported by an external agency but you will partner with internal Tech/Product teams for implementation. The more technically hands-on you are (particularly with GTM, server-side tracking, Meta CAPI and Adjust), the better. This role is about bringing best practice, structure and clarity to a growing performance engine.

You’ll also support paid media teams with tagging, tracking, attribution logic and audience activation across search, social and programmatic, ensuring data flows correctly across web, app and offline conversion journeys.

Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in Martech, AdTech or Marketing Technology
  • Is confident with GTM (including server-side), Meta CAPI and Adjust
  • Understands attribution models and conversion tracking deeply
  • Has experience supporting paid media teams with tagging and activation
  • Has a strong understanding of CDPs and first-party data execution
  • Understands consent frameworks and privacy-first environments
  • Is analytical, structured and comfortable working autonomously
  • Experience in fintech, insurance or regulated industries is a plus.
