Search Engine Optimization Specialist
A growing digital agency is looking for a Technical SEO Contractor to support a range of client accounts across multiple sectors. This is a long term rolling contract for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving site performance and driving measurable organic growth.
You will work closely with strategists, developers and account teams to diagnose issues, implement technical improvements and contribute to wider SEO roadmap planning.
Role: Technical SEO Contractor
Rate: £300 per day
Location: Fully remote
Schedule: 3 days per week, long-term rolling contract
What you will be doing:
- Conducting detailed technical SEO audits across multiple websites
- Identifying and resolving crawling, indexing and performance issues
- Supporting site migrations, restructuring projects and ongoing optimisation
- Working with developers to ensure clean implementation of recommendations
- Providing clear documentation, reporting and technical insights for clients
- Contributing to wider SEO strategies and collaborating with account teams
What you will need:
- Proven experience in technical SEO within an agency environment
- Strong understanding of site architecture, indexing, Schema, Core Web Vitals and log file analysis
- Familiarity with tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Search Console and GA4
- Experience working across a variety of client sectors and website platforms
- GEO knowledge is a bonus but not essential
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a clear, actionable way
