Support Engineer
Job Title: Support Engineer - SQL
Salary: £45k - £50k

We’re working with a leading legal organisation who are looking to hire a Support Engineer to join their growing IT team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical problem solving and working closely with business users to support and improve critical systems within a Microsoft environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting and maintaining systems within a Microsoft-based environment
- Using SQL and SQL-based workflows to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues
- Investigating and resolving incidents across applications, systems, and user environments
- Working closely with business teams to support and improve operational workflows
- Diagnosing root causes and ensuring effective long-term fixes, not just quick resolutions
- Supporting business-critical applications and ensuring system stability and performance
Key experience required:
- Strong SQL experience, including working with or supporting SQL-based workflows
- Solid background in technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Experience working within a Microsoft environment (e.g. Windows Server, Microsoft 365, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose, investigate, and resolve technical issues across multiple systems
- Experience supporting or working with business workflows/processes is highly desirable
