Dignoris is a UK-based, pre-Seed company building operations infrastructure for the autonomous era. We work with leading UK and European AV operators — customer set held under NDA — on the audit-native, certificate-bearing infrastructure that sits beneath remote operations.

We are not building a vendor product. We are building the institutional spine for a category that does not yet have one.

This is the founding engineering hire — the first full-time engineer at Dignoris. You adopt the substrate built to date and take it to commercial launch as the technical owner.

— What this role is —

You are the founding engineer at Dignoris. You adopt the Django modular monolith, the Postgres data model, the audit ledger, the customer surface, the operator surface, and the admin oversight surface that have been built to date. You become the technical voice in customer rooms alongside the founder. You own the architectural decisions that touch the regulator interface.

You own the codebase end-to-end. You set the engineering bar. You partner with the founder on every senior-engineering hire that follows.

You do not own strategic direction, the brand canon, the customer commercial relationship, or the fundraise. The founder owns those.

— What you will build —

· The platform infrastructure beneath every regulated autonomous-system deployment

· The marketplace engine that registers cleared and customer-internal operators across the Dignoris standard

· The credentialing system that issues certificates verifiable from outside the platform

· The audit-native operations layer that survives a regulator on a Tuesday

· The architectural seams for the next layer of the platform — tier router, consent ledger, training-corpus pipeline

— Who we are looking for —

· 6 to 14 years of professional engineering experience

· At least one shipped product where you were the most senior engineer in the room

· Direct experience with multi-tenant SaaS, Postgres at scale, AWS or GCP, and an identity provider such as Auth0

· Comfort with at least one regulated environment — PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FCA, MiFID II, or peer

· Career-level English and the ability to write in an institutional register — documentation matters here

· UK-based or willing to relocate to the UK within 90 days of signed offer

Strongly preferred. Stripe, Linear, Vercel, Wise, Monzo, GoCardless, Checkout.com, Plaid, Adyen, Cloudflare, HashiCorp, Datadog, Snyk, Octopus Energy, TrueLayer, Modulr, ClearBank, Persona, Onfido, Anthropic infrastructure, DeepMind platform, or Cohere infrastructure alumni. Marketplace experience with payments and payouts a plus.

· Not a remote-only role. We expect London presence, with hybrid flexibility.

· Not a quiet platform-engineering seat. You will be in customer rooms.

· Not a stable mid-stage scale-up. We are pre-Seed. The risk is real.

· Not a product-management hybrid. This is a senior engineering seat.
