Account Director - EMEA Growth

Regarded as APAC's dominant full-funnel demand generation business, now growing quickly across EMEA and North America, Direct it helps global technology companies generate demand and pipeline they can actually rely on.

We do this through a mix of digital outreach, intent-led priority data, and in-house telemarketing - across top, mid, and bottom of funnel. We're known for being practical, commercial, and outcome-driven, not theoretical.

We're now hiring an Account Director – EMEA Growth to help scale our presence across the region.

The role

This role sits at the intersection of new business generation and strategic account expansion.

Roughly half of your time will be spent creating new opportunities and opening doors.

The other half will be spent growing and owning relationships with large global technology companies we already work with in other regions, expanding those relationships across EMEA (and, in many cases, North America).

You will:

  • Own revenue across a defined set of strategic accounts and net-new opportunities
  • Take full ownership of EMEA relationships once accounts are established
  • Work closely with the CEO and APAC leadership team to expand global client relationships into EMEA
  • Run proper discovery - understanding client structure, history, internal politics, and what has and hasn't worked before
  • Design multi-program, multi-market demand strategies that combine Direct it's full capability set
  • Lead deals from first conversation through pilot, rollout, and long-term program
  • Turn pilots into roadmaps, and roadmaps into long-term commercial relationships
  • Push successful programs into new regions, business units, and use cases
  • Represent Direct it credibly with senior marketing and revenue leaders at global tech companies

This is not a "hand-off to delivery and disappear" role. You are expected to stay close to accounts, maintain momentum, and keep pushing relationships forward.

What success looks like

This role suits someone who:

  • Has already run complex B2B accounts or enterprise demand programs
  • Has experience selling services or solutions, not just media inventory
  • Is comfortable working with both single-stakeholder and multi-stakeholder buying groups
  • Understands how pilots convert into quarterly and annual programs
  • Can manage ambiguity and still move deals forward
  • Is collaborative, curious, and genuinely good at problem-solving
  • Has "startup energy" - hungry, driven, and not afraid to push
  • Is happy being close to leadership and accountable for outcome

We're less interested in candidates who have relied heavily on a big brand to carry deals for them. We're more interested in people who have punched above their weight in mid-market, agency, telemarketing, or specialist demand-gen environments.
