This is a key leadership role at the very start of a broader business transformation covering process, technology, and operating model. The programme is high-profile, high-impact, and strategically important to the organisation’s future.

The successful consultant will take ownership of the validation strategy, governance, and compliance approach across the programme, while also helping shape a broader enterprise validation framework for the future.

  • Define and establish the validation strategy, framework, and governance model
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and the SI to ensure the programme is delivered in a validated and inspection-ready way
  • Oversee validation deliverables, documentation, review, approvals, and sign-off
  • Ensure appropriate validation controls are embedded across business design, testing, deployment, and release
  • Drive the right testing and compliance approach from a GxP perspective
  • Use the programme as a catalyst to help build a more mature future-state validation capability internally

What we are looking for

  • Strong experience leading GxP / validation / CSV on SAP S/4HANA programmes
  • Background operating in regulated life sciences environments
  • Strong understanding of validation strategy, governance, testing oversight, and audit readiness
  • Ability to work client-side and engage confidently with programme leadership, quality/compliance stakeholders, and implementation partners
  • Comfortable building structure and good practice in an environment where validation maturity is still evolving
  • Able to balance hands-on delivery with strategic framework design

Role details

  • Programme expected to run for c. 3 years
  • Primarily remote
