PPC Team Lead

The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker who still loves rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into campaigns? Do you thrive on seeing people grow just as much as you enjoy seeing performance metrics soar? If so, this PPC Team Lead opportunity could be your ideal next step.

You’ll be joining a high-performing, people-first agency who partner with a number of lifestyle, D2C, SaaS, and service-led brands, and they’re looking for a PPC leader who’s equal parts strategist, mentor, and performance marketer.

You’ll lead a close-knit PPC team, oversee a portfolio of retained clients, and play a vital role in evolving the agency’s paid media offering. If you're ready to shape both strategy and culture within a truly collaborative environment - this is your moment.

Flexible, hybrid working options are available.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • You will mentor and support a growing PPC team, providing daily guidance, feedback, and coaching. You will plan team workloads, support recruitment and onboarding, and foster a culture of excellence.

Client Delivery & Relationship Building

  • The PPC Team Lead will take ownership of a selection of key PPC clients, becoming a trusted partner and strategic lead. You will attend client meetings, lead pitches, and step in when senior support is needed to ensure PPC campaigns are results-driven, aligned to client goals, and flawlessly executed.

Performance & Growth

  • You will own the revenue performance of the PPC department and ensure KPIs and retention goals are met. This will involve contributing to forecasting, pipeline planning, and spotting upsell opportunities. You will collaborate with SEO, content, and web teams to integrate PPC into multi-channel strategies.

Reporting & Commercial Awareness

  • You will oversee reporting and insights, ensuring clarity, consistency, and client impact. Monitor account revenue will be important and identifying risks or opportunities for optimisation.

About You

You will be an established hands-on PPC expert, ideally working in an agency setting, with team leadership or mentoring exposure.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strategic mind with a deep understanding of paid search, display, and social (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.). You will be a confident communicator, client-facing pro, and a natural problem solver. You will be commercially aware with experience contributing to growth, forecasting, and proposal etc.

Technically, you will be fluent in the key platforms: GA4, GTM, Data Studio (Looker Studio), and Microsoft Ads and you will ideally be Google/Microsoft Ads certified and up-to-date on platform changes and best practices.

This is a great opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in people. You’ll shape the PPC function while growing your own career within a respected agency group. If you’re excited about leading a team and driving real client impact, apply today or contact James Robinson for more info.
