Social Media & Communications Executive
The Opportunity

You would be joining an established team with a target audience from start-ups and industry disruptors to recognised innovators and market leaders, including some of the most exciting companies in the world. You will join an established global marketing team and be part of a friendly and collaborative environment.
We are looking for someone who is creative and proactive and this role would suit either a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their career who is genuinely passionate about social media and digital communications.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong interest in B2B marketing, and a solid awareness of emerging social trends and best practices. You will be eager to try new content formats and ready to support the business in telling their story in innovative, engaging ways. While the role is primarily focused on social media, you’ll also support wider marketing activities across content, internal comms and reporting.
This job is located in Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days home)
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of global social media channels – including scheduling content, monitoring activity, and supporting long-term growth
- Generate creative content ideas and contribute to the production of short-form content including blogs, social media posts, images and video
- Explore new content formats, platforms and trends, helping experiment with fresh ideas to keep channels relevant and engaging
- Collaborate with designers to create visual assets and contribute to content creation using design tools (e.g. Canva or Adobe Express)
- Monitor social and digital activity across customer and competitor channels, flagging opportunities for PR or content in real-time
- Create regular reports on the performance of social channels and help identify ways to improve reach, engagement and ROI
- Own and manage the marketing presence on the internal communications portal, ensuring news and updates are shared regularly across the business
- Support the wider marketing team across PR, digital and content activity as needed
About You
We are looking for a creative and motivated graduate with a relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, English or Business, and a genuine passion for social media and digital marketing. You will have a strong understanding of social platforms, trends and best practice, alongside an interest in technology, software and B2B marketing.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail, you will be confident creating engaging content and collaborating on visual assets, including images and video.
Highly organised and proactive, you will be comfortable managing multiple deadlines, bringing fresh ideas to the table and working collaboratively as part of a team. Any previous marketing experience, familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools, paid social (particularly LinkedIn), CMS platforms or SEO principles would be advantageous but is not essential.
