Business Analyst (Global Channel)

An experienced Global Channel Business Analyst is required by our client who are a global cybersecurity specialist with offices in over 45 countries around the world. The role purpose will be to support the Channel Strategy, Segmentation & Value Office by providing high-quality analysis, benchmarking, and insight that underpins partner segmentation, governance, value creation tracking, and executive decision-making. This role turns data into clarity, frameworks into evidence, and strategy discussions into fact-based choices.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analyse partner performance across - Tiers, segments, regions, and partner types, Revenue, margin, growth, mix and lifecycle metrics
  • Identify trends, outliers, white space, and risks within the partner portfolio
  • Support tiering, re-tiering, and partner investment/exit decisions with data

VALUE CREATION TRACKING & KPI SUPPORT

  • Support the definition and ongoing tracking of the Channel Value Creation Plan (VCP)
  • Build and maintain KPI trees, value bridges, and performance dashboards
  • track realised vs planned value and highlight gaps or deviations early
  • Work closely with Finance and PRM teams to ensure data consistency

COMPETITIVE BENCHMARKING & MARKET INTELLIGENCE

  • Conduct structured benchmarking of:
  • Competitor channel models
  • partner programs and incentives
  • Routes-to-market and ecosystem strategies
  • Monitor external trends (cloud, SaaS, marketplaces, MSSPs, GSIs)
  • Translate insights into concise implications and recommendations

EXECUTIVE BOARD-LEVEL SUPPORT

  • Prepare high-quality analytical material for Board packs, QBRs, Executive reviews
  • Ensure outputs are Fact-based, clearly structured, focused on decision relevance, not volume

AD-HOC STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

  • Support scenario analysis, investment cases, and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to the evolution of segmentation, governance, and GTM models
  • Act as analytical "backbone" to senior channel leaders

The successful candidate will be highly analytical and structured thinker who is curious and externally orientated and comfortable working with imperfect data. Must be able to channel assumptions respectfully and be able to pay strong attention to detail without losing strategic context. Must have the ability to structure problems, build clear analytical frameworks and work confidently with large datasets. Also have the ability to understand channel economics, link analysis to commercial outcomes. High standards of accuracy and rapidly be able to understand new channel models current on ecosystem evolution.
