CRM/CPQ Administrator - Revenue Cloud

Our client is a global leader and trusted Cybersecurity specialist with offices across the World. They are seeking a CRM/CPQ Junior Administrator - Revenue Cloud. It is essential that the successful candidate has 7 years plus Salesforce development and architecture experience and holds a Salesforce Technical Architect or Application Architect certification. Must also have deep experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud implementations and a proven track record designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture:

  • Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for Revenue Cloud implementation
  • Design scalable data models, integration patterns, and system interfaces
  • Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices
  • Review and approve all major technical decisions and design proposals
  • Ensure solution aligns with Salesforce best practices and enterprise architure standards.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team
  • Lead technical design sessions and architecture reviews
  • Resolve complex technical challenges and make trade-off decisions
  • Champion code quality, performance, and security standards
  • Drive adoption of modern development practices and tooling.

Integration Architecture:

  • Design integration architecture between Revenue Cloud and enterprise systems (Netsuite, MDM, Workflow ingestion)
  • Define API contracts, data flows, and error handling strategies
  • Ensure integration patterns support scalability and reliability requirements
  • Collaborate with IT and Integration teams on cross-system design decisions.

Governance & Standards:

  • Establish technical governance framework for the platform
  • Define and enforce coding standards, naming conventions, and documentation requirements
  • Create and maintain architectural decision records
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

Delivery Partner Oversight:

  • Provide architectural oversight of delivery partner work during R1
  • Review partner designs and implementations for architectural compliance
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of architectural decisions
  • Guide transition of technical ownership to internal team.

Platform Strategy:

  • Define technical roadmap aligned with business requirements
  • Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and recommend adoption strategies
  • Plan for platform scalability as additional countries/entities are onboarded
  • Identify technical debt and plan remediation activities.

Must have a strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-driven, middleware) and a proficiency in APEX, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs. Some experience in leading technical teams and mentoring developers. You will be UK or Europe based and hybrid/remote working will be considered. Occasional travel. Must be a strategic thinker and quality focused.
