Lecturer in Computing

Lecturer in Digital Location: Leeds Salary: Up to £33,300 per annum Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Temp to Perm opportunity)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Digital Lecturer to join our teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of Digital and Computing courses, supporting learners to achieve their potential and preparing them for progression into higher education or employment in the digital sector.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching on BTEC Digital/Computing courses, with opportunities to teach T Levels if experienced.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
  • Support and inspire students to achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback and monitor learner progress effectively.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience delivering Digital/Computing courses within an FE College setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver at the relevant levels (BTEC/T Level).
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for digital education.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, but full support will be provided to gain one if not already held.
