Junior Web Designer

We’re looking for a talented Junior Web Designer to join our team and grow with us over the years ahead.

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Junior Web Designer to help us design and improve websites, user interfaces, and marketing assets. You’ll work closely with our senior designer, development and marketing teams to produce high-quality visuals and engaging user experiences across a range of client projects.

As an individual the ideal applicant will be self-motivated and passionate about great web design. This role is a real opportunity to join a growing eCommerce agency and work with our existing team to help create something special.

• Design and update web pages and landing pages using brand guidelines and UX best practices
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and site improvements
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Design digital assets for marketing campaigns, including banners, email graphics, and social media visuals
• Contribute ideas for improving usability and overall design quality of our clients stores
• Maintain consistency across design projects and adhere to client brand identities

Required:

• We’re happy to consider everyone from recent graduates, to those with up to 2 years of professional experience in design (including internships and freelance work)
• An enthusiasm to learn and grow as part our awesome team
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Understanding of responsive design principles and basic UX/UI best practices
• Attention to detail and strong visual design skills
• Understanding of HTML/CSS (not essential, but a plus)
