AI Engineer – High-Performing Hedge Fund - London
Salary: £110k – £150k base + bonus (large TC potential)
We’re looking for an exceptional AI Engineer to join a high-performing hedge fund and contribute to the development and scaling of cutting-edge AI technologies that directly enhance investment and trading processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and finance, building production-ready AI solutions that will shape the future of investment decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
- Developing AI applications that directly support trading and research, with a focus on LLMs and advanced agentic systems
- Building and scaling end-to-end AI pipelines, from experimentation to deployment
- Partnering with portfolio managers and researchers to identify AI-driven opportunities for smarter investment decisions
- Implementing innovative techniques such as fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and multi-agent frameworks
- Creating tools to monitor and evaluate AI models in live production environments
Who You Are:
- Degree in Science or Engineering, ideally from a leading university
- Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to financial markets, trading, or investment research
- Strong understanding of financial data and time series analysis
- Proficient in Python for backend work and React JS for frontend applications
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
