Full Stack Java Developer - Global Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund | London

Our client is a technology-driven multi-strategy global hedge fund with a track record of excellence.They are looking for a talented Full Stack Java/React Developer to join their front office technology team.

The Role

Work directly with Portfolio Managers, Quants, and Risk teams to build robust applications supporting our Fundamental Long/Short Equities platform. You'll be developing tools for research, idea generation, and portfolio construction in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building trading tools and applications working closely with investment professionals
• Developing APIs and data pipelines focused on speed and reliability
• Creating systems to facilitate research and idea generation
• Improving core infrastructure and system scalability
• Working across the full technology stack - frontend to database

Tech Stack

Java | TypeScript/React | Python | Kafka | SQL Server | Snowflake | Docker | InfluxDB

What they are Looking For

• 3+ years commercial Java experience
• Previous experience at a bank or hedge fund
• Basic knowledge of at least one asset class
• Strong SQL/RDBMS skills
• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Enthusiasm for working across the full stack
