The team: The Research team builds the model and decision-making stack powering enterprise conversational agents. They work on state-of-the-art techniques in model training, prompting, orchestration, and evaluation to make agents more accurate, robust, and efficient in real-world deployments.
What you'll do:
- Lead research and engineering to improve conversational capabilities (instruction following, retrieval, memory, long-horizon tasks)
- Build end-to-end models and pipelines optimizing for quality, efficiency, and UX
- Take research ideas from prototype to production with measurable impact
- Own multi-quarter initiatives pushing agent reliability and capability forward
- Design frontier approaches for training, evaluation, and orchestration
- Partner with platform/product engineers on production integration
You have:
✅ 5+ years in AI/ML engineering or research
✅ Experience post-training and deploying LLMs in production
✅ Strong Python and modern ML tooling (training, evaluation, data pipelines)
✅ Track record shipping research from prototype to reliable production impact
✅ Ability to break down ambiguous research into clear milestones
