I have a role within a fast growing deep tech company working at the intersection of AI, robotics, and autonomous systems. Their technology is deployed in demanding real world environments and their Deployed Engineers are the people who make that happen.

This is a rare hybrid role that sits at the boundary of software engineering and hands on field work. You'll travel to customer sites, get your hands dirty integrating complex systems, and write the code that makes everything actually work. What you'll do

• Travel to customer sites, understand real use cases, and deploy our products into live environments
• Write code to connect data sources and solve specific, complex customer problems on the ground
• Interface with and test robotic and autonomous systems in real world field conditions
• Refine implementations in close collaboration with customers until we've maximised their value
• Collaborate with a team of deployed engineers across AI/ML, networking, and robotics
• Drive a culture of engineering excellence within the team and the wider company

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or scientific discipline
• Strong programming skills in server-side languages (C++, Java, Rust, Python) or front end development (TypeScript / JavaScript, Angular, React)
• Enthusiasm for expanding across a diverse, evolving technology stack
• Confident customer facing communication you'll represent the client directly to end users
• Willingness to travel and work on site with customers as needed

Security & eligibility

This role requires an existing Right to Work in the UK. Due to the nature of our customer base, the role is likely to require UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) level or above,We will support you with this.(This will require UK citizenship or having been in the UK for a minimum of 5 years)
