Software Engineer - AI Infra Start-up - London - Up to $240k Base + Equity

We’re working with a stealth-mode AI infrastructure start-up, founded by a team out of Oxford and backed by top investors.

Their mission : break the world’s dependence on traditional hardware providers . With GPU shortages and rising costs holding back AI innovation, this team is building distributed software that enables large-scale model training on alternative platforms.

They’re tackling challenges at the intersection of systems, distributed computing, and machine learning, and are now hiring:

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on:

  • Building core distributed systems for large-scale ML training
  • Writing clean, efficient, highly disciplined code
  • Tackling challenges across networking, orchestration, and reliability
  • Collaborating with a world-class team of engineers and researchers

They’re looking for:

  • Strong coding ability in Python (Rust a plus)
  • Background in systems, infrastructure, or HPC
  • Rigorous approach to code clarity and efficiency
  • (Bonus) ICPC/IOI or similar competition experience

Comp is fixed at $240k Base + Equity
