Senior Business Development Manager
We are an IT infrastructure solutions provider specialising in electrical and data cabling installations, Wi-Fi design (including Building Information Modelling), IT hardware, and AWS cloud services. We’re looking for a driven, successful Business Development Manager to lead our growth efforts and uncover new business opportunities. This role will work closely with our Sales Director and Marketing team to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term, high value clients. We're after someone who knows how to build rapport, open doors, and close deals.
Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £50k to £55k + OTE
What you’ll be responsible for:
· Take the lead on new business: Actively prospect and win new B2B clients across key verticals.
· Make the connections: Secure in-person meetings with key decision-makers across the UK.
· Win the deal: Understand client needs, build trust, tailor compelling solutions, and close sales.
· Grow the pipeline: Create and execute strategic sales plans to proactively drive new opportunities.
· Hit your numbers: Meet (and beat) ambitious sales targets.
· Foster growth: Manage and nurture new client relationships for long-term success.
· Teamwork: Collaborate with project service teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
We’re looking for someone who:
· Is a seasoned B2B sales professional, experienced in winning high-value projects in the electrical or IT infrastructure sectors.
· Has working knowledge of electrical solutions, structured cabling, or IT networking (or a mix of these).
· Thrives on autonomy and enjoys being out in the field, meeting with prospects and clients.
· Is highly motivated, with a proven ability to build their own pipeline, originate opportunities, and close large B2B deals
· Communicates with clarity, listens well, and knows how to sell consultatively.
· Can manage their own workload and stay focused under pressure.
· Is based within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes, and happy to travel across the UK.
· Holds a full UK driver’s licence.
