Epicor Solutions Architect and Developer

We are seeking an experienced and technically capable Epicor Developer to join our IT team and play a key role in developing, supporting, and enhancing our ERP environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the continued evolution of our systems, improving efficiency and supporting critical business operations across the organisation.About the Role You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting solutions within our Epicor ERP system, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will translate operational requirements into effective system solutions, supporting both day-to-day activities and longer-term strategic improvements.This role offers a varied workload, including development, integration, support, and continuous improvement of systems that are central to business performance.Key Responsibilities
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining applications within the Epicor ERP (Kinetic) environment.
  • Supporting and enhancing integrations between Epicor and other business systems, including MES and CRM platforms.
  • Understanding business requirements and translating these into practical, scalable system solutions.
  • Providing support for system issues, user requests, and ongoing improvements.
  • Working within agreed service levels and maintaining system reliability and performance.
  • Supporting ERP implementation activities, upgrades, and system optimisation.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, processes, and development standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure systems align with business objectives.
  • Assisting in maintaining the wider Epicor infrastructure where required.
  • Managing workload effectively and prioritising tasks in line with business needs.
  • Providing occasional out-of-hours support at key business periods.
About You
  • Demonstrable experience in the development, implementation, and support of Epicor ERP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Epicor Kinetic and its application within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working across ERP modules such as finance, supply chain, and production.
  • Proven ability to manage the full development lifecycle, including documentation and best practices.
  • Experience integrating Epicor with third-party applications and systems.
  • Ability to understand user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  • A collaborative team player with a willingness to support and develop others.
