PA / Project Administrator

£20 - £22.90 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

15-month contract

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Leatherhead, Surrey

Office-based, five days per week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced PA / Project Administrator to support a major international oil and gas project in Leatherhead.

The role

This varied, people-focused position requires a highly organised and proactive administrator who can take ownership of a busy workload. You will help ensure the smooth running of the project office, coordinating travel and events, maintaining records and supporting international personnel relocating to the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project correspondence, including numbering, issuing and filing letters
  • Arranging SharePoint access and maintaining project registers
  • Coordinating flights, hotels, airport transfers and other business travel
  • Liaising with IT regarding meeting-room and general technology requirements
  • Organising project events, celebrations, VIP visits and catering
  • Maintaining meeting rooms, printers and office supplies
  • Supporting document management activities as required
  • Assisting international personnel with accommodation, schooling and transport enquiries
  • Liaising with internal departments and international project stakeholders
  • Providing wider PA and administrative support to keep the project running smoothly

About you

You will be proactive, confident working independently and comfortable taking ownership of a varied administrative workload.

You will need:

  • Previous PA, project administration or senior administration experience
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Experience using SharePoint and DocuSign
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating travel, meetings or events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A helpful, professional and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to prioritise effectively without close supervision

Previous experience supporting engineering, energy, construction or oil and gas projects would be advantageous. Experience working with international client teams in a project-based environment would also be beneficial but is not essential.

Please note that this position requires attendance at the Leatherhead office five days per week and does not offer hybrid working.
