Director - Sales

Our Customer is on a growth path and is looking to expand its sales leadership team. We are looking for Director – Sales based in the UK, who will a part of the sales leadership team and drive New Business in some of Our Customer’s focused verticals ISV, Utilities / Services and Travel.

This role is a key part of the sales team in Europe and will have the responsibility to create and execute sales strategies in the ISV, Utilities / Services and Travel industries focused on transformation deals. In addition to working direct channel via one’s personal Industry connections, the role will also sell large deals and acquire new logos by working with the Alliances, Analysts/ Advisors/ PE firm partnerships channels.

Background experience needed for the role

  • Preferably an MBA with 10-15 years of IT services (new business development) sales experience with minimum 5 years in the UK
  • Experience in selling Microsoft/GCP/ AWS technologies (primarily business applications and Data/Cloud) to drive Digital Transformation
  • Sold multiple $ 2-5 M (annual contract value) transformation deals
  • Connections and prior experience of working with Analysts firms to generate large deals
  • Should have sold creative deal constructs by working with PE firms. Connections within the PE firms’ network will be valuable
  • Experience of selling in the ISV, Utilities / Services & Travel industries would be an advantage

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and grow revenues from new clients in the target Account/MHA list in the UK through prospecting, direct client interaction and leveraging alliances, analysts, PE firms
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with target accounts/MHAs
  • Responsible for revenues of minimum US $ 2mil/FY from new logos
  • To open 2 new accounts/FY in the target account list/MHA
  • Grow the new accounts to minimum US $5mil over 3 years period
  • Manages client relationship with newly opened Accounts and works with Our Customer delivery teams to ensures customer satisfaction. Some of the current existing accounts can be given to grow them further.
  • Work with service lines and industry vertical teams to develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies
  • Work with Demand generation teams to execute campaigns
  • Work with Marketing team and drive marketing activities to help retire quotas
