E1 Partners are recruiting on behalf of a growing IT consultancy looking for a Sales Executive to drive new business through a consultative, solution-led sales approach.
This role is focused on engaging clients, understanding their challenges, and positioning tailored services and not transactional or commodity-based selling.
The Role
- Generate new business through targeted outreach, networking and referrals
- Lead consultative sales conversations, identifying client needs and aligning solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through to close
- Build long-term client relationships based on value and trust
- Work closely with internal delivery teams to shape and position solutions
- Maintain a strong, qualified pipeline of opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a consultative or service-led sales environment
- Strong ability to engage stakeholders and understand business challenges
- Proven track record of winning new business (not purely account management)
- Comfortable selling solutions rather than products or commodities
- Commercially aware, with the ability to articulate value
Ideal Backgrounds
- IT services or consultancy – Networks, Cyber Security, etc.
- Professional services
- SaaS (solution-led rather than volume-based)
What This Role Is Not
- Not a commodity or price-driven sales role
- Not purely account management
- Not suited to candidates focused only on transactional selling
What’s on Offer
- £40,000 – £55,000 base salary
- 12% commission on gross profit
