PR & Communications Manager

This is a brilliant opportunity for a results-driven PR & Communications professional who thrives on storytelling, stakeholder engagement and driving real commercial impact. You'll take ownership of PR, communications and corporate affairs activity for a business operating at the intersection of technology, sustainability and innovation, with the chance to genuinely influence how the brand is perceived globally.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Communications, the PR & Communications Manager will design and deliver integrated PR, communications and corporate affairs campaigns that bring the company's vision, technology and partnerships to life.

You'll work across B2B and B2C audiences, engaging customers, partners, employees, investors, media and government stakeholders, ensuring consistent, compelling and credible messaging at every touchpoint.

PR & Communications

  • Partnering with the Head of Marketing & Communications to develop and execute a PR & Communications strategy that supports business growth
  • Leading PR initiatives that showcase the company's brand story, technology innovations, partnerships and product announcements
  • Creating targeted PR and communications campaigns for both direct customers (packaging companies) and their customers (brands and consumers)
  • Driving thought leadership opportunities across trade and consumer media
  • Building strong relationships with journalists, industry influencers and key stakeholders to secure high-quality coverage
  • Producing press releases, media kits and supporting materials for launches, partnerships and company milestones
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all inbound media enquiries

Corporate & Public Affairs

  • Supporting the development and delivery of corporate affairs and public affairs strategy
  • Creating and managing communications initiatives that build credibility with investors, employees and wider corporate stakeholders
  • Developing engaging internal communications that inform, inspire and motivate employees

Measurement & Management

  • Creating and executing evaluation frameworks for owned channels
  • Tracking performance against KPIs and providing clear reporting
  • Managing and reporting on channel budgets
  • Providing ad hoc support to the Head of Marketing & Communications and wider business as needed

You'll ideally bring:

  • Strong experience across PR & communications, spanning both B2B and B2C
  • Proven ability to demonstrate how PR and comms drive commercial value, ideally within a licensing or ingredient-led business
  • Experience delivering partner PR campaigns across a diverse customer base (from SMEs to global brands)
  • A solid track record of pitching to and building relationships with trade and consumer journalists
  • Experience creating campaigns for ingredient brands or within packaging / adjacent industries
  • A background in persuasive, impact-led communications that build awareness and drive demand
  • Exposure to corporate and public affairs (direct or indirect experience welcome)

  • Up to £55,000 salary
