Overview:
This company provides a cloud-based data and analytics platform for financial institutions, enabling deeper insight into market activity and supporting trading and research functions. The platform helps firms access and work with large volumes of structured market data more efficiently, reducing the operational burden of sourcing and processing raw datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritising work, refining user stories, and working closely with stakeholders
- Act as the subject matter expert for your product area, with a strong understanding of APIs, workflows, and client use cases
- Turn complex client needs into clear, well-defined product requirements, epics, and user stories
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to clarify requirements, technical considerations, dependencies, and delivery plans
- Collaborate with commercial, customer success, and quant teams to understand client needs and market trends
- Contribute to product discovery through customer feedback, competitive insights, and roadmap planning.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience working with SaaS, platform or data product
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail with exposure to modern data science platforms and tools (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, cloud data warehouses, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI)
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, scale-up environment
- Result-oriented with high commitment, resilience and professionalism
- Experience with financial markets, trading, or market microstructure
- 3-7 years experience
