Senior FPGA Engineer (SC)

Bristol; to £90,000 DoE + Benefits + Bonus

Based in Bristol offices close to the M5 and rail links, this technology company have developed innovative products using distributed acoustic sensing for fibre optic monitoring. Their products have real-world impacts for defence and security.

They are currently looking to hire a Senior FPGA Engineer to take a hands-on leadership role in technical delivery of projects as well as process ownership and team mentoring. The technical work will involve design of high performance FPGA architecture using Xilinx RFSoC as well as optimising DSP algorithms and integration of ML.

Requirements:

• Extensive, demonstrable project experience with Xilinx RFSoC ideally for SDR systems.
• Strong mathematical acumen applied for DSP-fundamentals.
• Experience with VHDL design for Xilinx / AMD using Vivado.
• Experience in a leadership / mentor role.

Interested applicants must be eligible for UK security clearance with strong preference for those who have or have had SC / DV.

The role is based fully onsite at their offices, so candidates need to be based in or close to Bristol (or willing to relocate to this area).
