Deskside Support Engineer

Job Opportunity: Deskside Support Engineer (Onsite - Venlo, Netherlands)

Permanent

40 hours per week standard working week Monday-Friday (no shifts).

Salary: 37,200 EUR

Pension: 3% Employer Contribution

Holiday pay / bonus: 8%

Mileage reimbursement: Upto 400 EUR per month (capped)

Training allowance: 1,000 EUR per year (use it or lose it model)

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Deskside Support Engineer to join our permanent onsite team in Venlo, Netherlands. If you're passionate about IT support, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and break/fix activities
• Respond to and resolve incident and non-incident case requests
• Support manufacturing shop floor devices (handhelds, laptops, scanners)
• Carry out data collection and preservation for migrations
• Provide basic user training upon deployment/installation
• Stage, build, and image systems using client standards
• Update incidents via handheld or laptop interface
• Mentor and provide technical training to junior staff

Skills & Experience

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows OS and MS Office
• Previous deskside support experience is essential
• Certifications such as A+, MCP, or MCSE are highly desirable
