IT Infrastructure Manager
Location: Long Eaton (2x days in the office)
Salary: £45k - £50k

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager with a proven track record of improving accessibility and visibility of core infrastructure and business-critical systems within a similar environment. The successful candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure technology solutions that prioritise a positive end-user experience. This role requires a hands-on and adaptable professional who can work effectively across a business with varying levels of technical understanding. The Infrastructure Manager will recognise technology as a business enabler and will demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement skills, building trusted relationships across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with on-site management teams to enhance the overall end-user experience across technology platforms.
  • Ensure all infrastructure activities are appropriately documented, maintaining clear and accurate processes and procedures.
  • Manage and support core infrastructure technologies across the organisation.
  • Oversee and maintain cyber security toolsets and ensure adherence to security best practice.
  • Support and deliver system integrations across key business functional areas.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure services, ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational effectiveness.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience within an IT Infrastructure role, ideally within a multi-site organisation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Security-focused approach to infrastructure design and management.
  • Technical experience across core infrastructure technologies, including: o Microsoft cloud technologies such as Entra, Intune, and the Microsoft 365 suite o Network technologies, including Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti o Management and support of Windows, Apple, and Android devices
  • Experience working with cyber security toolsets, including: o Anti-malware and endpoint protection solutions o Email filtering technologies o Web filtering technologies
  • Experience delivering system integrations across business functions.
  • Strong documentation skills with a structured, process-driven approach.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (desirable)Top of Form Bottom of Form
