Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer

Contract: 3 Months

Location: Ellesmere Port (Onsite)

This is a hands-on role focused on network discovery, infrastructure assessment, technical validation and supporting network transformation activities within a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Network discovery and site surveys
• Auditing switches, routers, firewalls and network devices
• Documenting network topology and infrastructure
• Validating connectivity and configurations
• Supporting network security assessments
• Identifying technical risks and troubleshooting issues
• Working closely with customer and project teams

We're looking for someone with:

• 7+ years' network engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of switching, routing, WAN/LAN, VLANs and firewalls
• Experience carrying out network audits and technical documentation
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• The ability to work independently in a live customer environment
