Contract VCF Architect, 2 days onsite, 3 days remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Contract VCF Architect with expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and associated technologies, including HCX, SRM, and SDDC, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising virtual cloud infrastructure solutions to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement VMware Cloud Foundation architecture and solutions.- Utilise HCX (Hybrid Cloud Extension) to facilitate workload mobility across cloud environments.- Implement and manage Site Recovery Manager (SRM) for disaster recovery solutions.- Develop and optimise Software-Defined Data Centre (SDDC) strategies and deployments.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud architecture with business objectives.- Provide technical guidance and support for cloud infrastructure projects.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VCF, HCX, SRM, and SDDC components.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cloud architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a VCF Architect or similar role.- Extensive knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation architecture.- Hands-on experience with HCX, SRM, and SDDC technologies.- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualisation concepts.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- VMware certifications (e.g., VCP, VCAP, VCDX) are a plus.- Experience in large-scale cloud migration projects.- Familiarity with additional VMware products and solutions.
