Data Quality Analyst - Global Transformation

Data Quality Analyst - Global Transformation

Location: Hertfordshire x3 days per week

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary + benefits

Company

We’re working with a global organisation going through a major transformation in how it manages and uses data across its international operations.

With teams across North America, Europe, and beyond, the business is investing heavily in building clean, reliable, and scalable data foundations that support everything from reporting and planning to long-term strategic decisions.

The Role

This is a problem-solving, system-building role focused on making sure data is accurate, consistent, and trusted across the business.

You’ll work across teams to identify where data breaks down, understand why it happens, and put solutions in place to fix it and more importantly, stop it happening again.

You’ll also play a key role in embedding better ways of working into projects, ensuring data quality is considered from the start rather than fixed later.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Investigating and resolving data issues that impact reporting and business decisions.
  • Identifying root causes of recurring data problems and putting preventative controls in place.
  • Working with technical teams and business users to improve how data flows across systems.
  • Helping project teams think about data quality upfront, not as an afterthought.
  • Turning complex data issues into clear, business-friendly explanations.
  • Tracking trends and patterns to continuously improve data accuracy and reliability.

The Person Required

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, asking questions, and getting to the root of issues, not just working around them.

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you should be curious, analytical, and comfortable working across different teams to make things better.

You’ll likely have:

  • Experience working with data quality, data governance, or data management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot patterns and diagnose issues.
  • Experience investigating problems and identifying root causes.
  • The ability to explain technical issues in a simple, business-friendly way.
  • Confidence working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exposure to systems, data platforms, or operational data flows

This is an opportunity to step into a role where you’ll have real impact on how a global business operates.
