As we continue working towards An Electric Britain, you'll play an important role in helping us unlock the value of data.The OpportunityAs a Data Engineer, you'll lead the onboarding and integration of new data sources into our enterprise data platform. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, partners and technical teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.While the role has a strong focus on data ingestion, you'll also contribute to data transformation, modelling and data warehousing activities. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we work, improve our delivery approaches and explore the use of automation and AI technologies.This is a full-time, permanent role and can be based anywhere in the UK. We support flexible ways of working and occasional travel will required for team meetings and business activities.What You'll Be DoingLead the onboarding and integration of new data sourcesTranslate business and partner requirements into effective data solutionsDevelop and maintain data transformation processes and pipelinesSupport data modelling and data warehousing activitiesWork collaboratively with internal teams and external partnersImprove reusable patterns, standards and ways of workingShare knowledge and support colleagues across the teamIdentify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve efficiency and deliveryWho You AreYou'll enjoy solving problems, building strong relationships and taking ownership of your work.
