Electrical Engineer
We are seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join a growing manufacturing team in Barton-upon-Humber. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment, supporting the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of site machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot breakdowns, and carry out repairs.
- Work with PLC-controlled machinery to identify and resolve electrical faults.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, processes, and technology.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the Shire CMMS system.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Shift Patterns
Main Site (Rotating)
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- PLC fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
Desirable
- Experience in FMCG, timber, woodworking, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
