Electrical Engineer

Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, using your electrical and fault-finding expertise to minimise downtime and maximise performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and completing effective repairs.
Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems. Conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, processes, and technology.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the Shire CMMS system.
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificationExperience within a manufacturing or industrial environmentPLC fault-finding and diagnostic experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProactive approach with excellent communication skillsDesirable Experience within FMCG, timber, woodworking, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
