Social Value Apprentice
Role
You will work closely with your Manager and together be the social conscience of the organisation, helping to innovate and drive our ambitions for social and environmental change and ensure these are embedded and implemented across the business.
In this dynamic and multifaceted role, you will interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, facilitating change by helping others understand how their roles fit within our Social Value strategy and how everyone's contribution can create a positive impact. You will also reach out to the community, collaborating with education establishments, charities, social enterprises and government bodies to create value and drive progress.

You will be responsible for championing and embedding Social Value creating practices throughout our operations. You will need to be passionate about being a force for good and creating positive outcomes from the projects we deliver.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Being organised, managing a programme of projects and events, ensuring they are embedded across the Catapult.
· Working on multiple initiatives covering a variety of focus areas and stakeholders, such as employee volunteering, engaging with schools and colleges, environmental improvement and driving diversity and inclusion in our business activities.
· Acting as an ambassador for the organisation's Social Value strategy, influencing others to take action to bring about positive outcomes.
· Measuring and reporting on our social and environmental impact.
· Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to Social Value and continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and drive our agenda forward.
Training
Minimum of 6 hours per week with the training provider which includes blended learning, with online study materials combined with monthly one-to-one online tutorials, webinarsand peer interaction.
You will be eligible to become an Associate of the Institute for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS)
You will get a UK government awarded apprenticeship
qualification at Level 4 - Corporate responsibility and sustainability practitioner.

- Working Week
- Your normal hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays exclusive with a lunch break of one hour, or such other hours as you will agree with your manager. Hours are inclusive of training time.
