SDR team leader

- Birmingham/hybrid (1/2 office days per week)- Senior SDR/Team leader - HR SAAS space The Role: As SDR Team Lead, you’ll be both hands-on in prospecting and responsible for coaching a small team of SDRs. You’ll set the standard for outreach excellence, refine our playbook, and help the team consistently generate high-quality sales meetings for our Account Executives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and is passionate about both individual contribution and team development.  What You’ll Do: Player (Individual Contributor)
  • Prospect into target accounts using a mix of calls, emails, LinkedIn, and creative outreach.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong sales meeting pipeline.
  • Book discovery meetings with relevant Stakeholders for the AE’s.
  • Test and refine messaging to resonate with our target ICP.
Coach (Team Leadership)
  • Mentor and train SDRs on outreach techniques, messaging, and qualification.
  • Monitor activity and pipeline metrics, providing regular feedback and performance coaching.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to optimize lead generation strategies.
  • Help define and document the SDR playbook, ensuring repeatable success.
  • Hire, onboard, and scale the SDR team as we grow.
  What We’re Looking For:
  • 2–4+ years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in HR tech.
  • Proven track record of exceeding pipeline and meeting-booking targets.
  • Previous experience mentoring or managing junior SDRs is a plus.
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Data-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable with CRM/engagement tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
  • Self-starter who thrives in a startup environment — resilient, and adaptable.
