AI Product Strategy Lead

We're looking for a visionary and collaborative AI Product Strategy Lead on a 12 month fixed term basis to shape and deliver the strategy for E.ON Next's AI technology products. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic, cross-functional product group, working with in-house and SaaS solutions to create innovative AI-driven experiences.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
  • Define and champion a clear AI product vision and roadmap, integrating in-house and SaaS solutions to deliver exceptional customer value

  • Collaborate with Technology, Design, Data, Operations, GTM and Strategy teams to align priorities and drive cross-functional innovation

  • Identify and explore emerging AI technologies, particularly Generative AI (Gen AI) and Agentic AI (Agentic AI), to shape future product opportunities

  • Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing team of product experts, fostering empowerment, creativity and psychological safety

  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including Directors and C-suite executives, to communicate strategy, articulate value and influence decision-making

  • Drive product experimentation and innovation, balancing strategic planning with rapid iteration and value delivery

  • Support enterprise-wide technology initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with broader business objectives

Are we the perfect match?
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, trends and strategies, with experience building or leveraging AI products, ideally including Gen AI or Agentic AI

  • Strong product leadership experience, with a proven track record of defining and delivering technology product strategies and roadmaps

  • Significant experience in Product Management or equivalent, ideally in a SaaS or tech-driven environment

  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer and business insights into impactful strategic initiatives across the product lifecycle

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at all levels, including senior executives

  • Experience leading, mentoring and empowering diverse teams, fostering innovation and high performance

It would be great if you had:
  • Proven experience cultivating partnerships with SaaS or technology providers to drive innovation and competitive advantage

  • Experience overseeing and optimising complex product portfolios or delivery pipelines

  • A track record of driving organisational change, challenging conventional thinking and championing agility

  • Knowledge of emerging AI technologies and their potential application to create value for customers and the business

  • Experience bringing AI products to market, both internally and externally, with strong strategic impact
