Remediation Senior Analyst
You will work within a specialist technical team, using data from various sources to analyse smart meter performance, identify key trends, and support the triage and resolution of asset issues. Working closely with the Asset Resolution Manager and Technical Remediation Specialists, you will turn data into actionable insight, validating findings and highlighting non-operating meters (including those linked to customer solutions) to drive targeted remediation.
Your analysis will support faster time to repair, improved customer outcomes, and delivery of key objectives, including maintaining 94% operating meter performance, while also supporting reporting and dashboard development to enable informed decision-making.

Problems & topics requiring analyst support will be allocated by the Asset Resolution Manager for the role holder to perform activities including but not limited to:
Supporting problem solve and root cause analysis, by extracting and analysing smart asset data from systems including: Tableau, uSMART BOL, Smart Pear, MSD, DCC platforms, Kraken, and emerging data sources e.g. Data Bricks, to support root cause analysis of non-operating meters.
Maintain, develop, and refine Power BI dashboards and performance reporting, ensuring accurate, timely insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with analysts and Technical Remediation Specialists to share insights, improve route-to-green performance, and reduce time to repair (
Maintain and develop data that contributes to reducing unnecessary asset replacement and remediation effectiveness, and by doing so help achieve our operating cost per account OKR.
Use systems such as Kraken, BOL and Smart Pear to test hypotheses and validate findings, building robust, evidence-based conclusions on asset behaviour.
Support Technical Remediation Specialists to validate and improve business processes, maintaining accurate process maps and documentation to ensure compliance with Ofgem and DESNZ requirements while strengthening smart operations and service quality.
Analyse customer behaviour and contact drivers to reduce reactive appointments, improve customer journeys, and support satisfaction targets.
Explore and support implementation of AI and digital automation solutions (e.g. Sparrow, Smart Pear), improving triage capability, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency.

Ability to design and develop complex SQL or Python queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets, alongside building and maintaining Power BI dashboards or Tableau to deliver accurate, timely insights that support decision-making.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and structured manner to peers and stakeholders across varying levels of seniority, confidently providing evidence-based recommendations and articulating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver to deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, applying strong problem-solving skills and driving continuous improvement.
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand complex smart metering systems and apply technical knowledge of smart assets to translate into clear outcomes.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams to support delivery of key objectives, including improving operating meter performance (94%), reducing time to repair, and enhancing customer outcomes.
Experience or knowledge of smart metering systems (e.g. Kraken, uSMART BOL, Tableau) with a willingness to learn and develop expertise.
Competent in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks).
