Recruiter Apprentice

A fantastic opportunity to join the team at EQ Group. You will develop skills in recruitment & talent acquisition, sales & business development, AI & automation, project management to name a few. There will be ongoing opportunities for career development and promotion. 

Role

From day one you’ll be working on live projects, supporting consultants, engaging with healthcare professionals, using AI tools and learning how modern businesses create opportunities and grow.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have the skills, knowledge and confidence to progress into a Recruitment Consultant position.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Market Intelligence & Research:

  • Mapping healthcare and technology markets
  • Researching organisations, talent pools and trends
  • Building market reports and intelligence projects
  • Supporting strategic growth initiatives

AI & Technology:

  • Working with our Hey Holi platform
  • Using AI tools to improve productivity and outcomes
  • Supporting automation projects
  • Learning how technology is transforming recruitment

CRM & Operations:

  • Managing candidate and client data
  • Building talent pipelines
  • Maintaining CRM systems
  • Supporting consultant workflows

Candidate Engagement:

  • Connecting with professionals through LinkedIn
  • Supporting outreach campaigns
  • Building relationships with candidates
  • Booking introductory conversations

Business Development Support:

  • Researching prospective clients
  • Creating market maps and target lists
  • Supporting outreach activity
  • Helping consultants generate new opportunities

Personal Brand Development:

  • Learning modern LinkedIn strategies
  • Creating professional content
  • Building confidence and communication skills
  • Developing commercial awareness

Training

  • You will achieve the Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship Standard
  • There are workshops to attend via Teams
  • You will have a mentor for one-to-one teaching and learning
  • In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role

Your Career Path:

  • Months 1-2 - Talent & Growth Associate
  • Months 3-4 - Managing projects and outreach independently
  • Months 5-6 - Operating with increasing ownership and responsibility
  • Month 6+ - Promotion to Recruitment Consultant
